CUSTOM EXPANDASHIELD GASKETS

Description

CUSTOM EXPANDASHIELD gaskets and gasketing material are fabricated from an unfilled or silicone filled severely expanded Monel or Aluminum.

APPLICATIONS

EXPANDASHIELD unfilled is recommended for applications requiring EMI shielding of seams with up to 0.005” (0.13) of joint unevenness. EXPANDASHIELD filled with silicone is recommended for applications requiring EMI shielding of seams with up to 0.005” (0.13) of joint unevenness which also must provide a pressure seal. Both types of EXPANDASHIELD are very effective in penetrating non-conductive coatings on the gasket mounting surface.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

EXPANDASHIELD is available for delivery in the materials and sizes listed in Tables 17A and 17B. EXPANDASHIELD can be supplied in 12” (304.80) wide rolls or can be custom die-cut by Custom Shielding to your specifications. For custom die-cut gaskets, please submit a drawing of the gasket and the type of EXPANDASHIELD gasketing material required. EXPANDASHIELD is also available in standard connector gasket sizes.
