CUSTOM CABLESHIELD
Description
CUSTOM CABLESHIELD is available either as a two-ply knitted wire mesh tape or as a mesh tape with a vinyl covered jacket. These products are available in Monel or SnCuFe (tin-plated, copper-clad steel) wire.
APPLICATIONS
CUSTOM CABLESHIELD provides shielding of many types of cabling configurations.
CABLESHIELD tape is recommended for applications requiring a flexible shielding which can conform to any cabling configuration. CABLESHIELD tape can be used in applications where there is a wide range of temperatures and environments.
CABLESHIELD cable covering provides excellent shielding in an easy to install vinyl jacket. The jacket is installed by placing it lengthwise over the cable needing shielding. The jacket is closed and held in place by the use of a conductive fastener. This allows CABLESHIELD to be easily installed and removed.
AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS
CABLESHIELD knitted wire mesh cable wrap is available in continuous length spools in the widths listed in Table 22A. CABLESHIELD cable covering is available in 20 foot lengths with the inside diameters listed in Table 22B.
